Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and PrepHit AI ("PrepHit", "we", "our", or "us").

These Terms apply to all products and digital services offered under PrepHit AI, including:

• The PrepHit Web Application (prephit.com and official deployment domains)
• The PrepHit Android Application (available on the Google Play Store)
• Cloud synchronization, ATS scanning engines, mock interview simulators, and AI generative services

By creating an account, signing in with Google, downloading the mobile app, or using any part of the service, you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

PrepHit AI is an artificial intelligence-powered career copilot suite. Core functionalities include:

• Resume Builder & Tailoring: Creating, styling, and exporting formatted resumes with 19+ recruiter-approved templates.
• ATS Compatibility Scanner: Scoring resume match rates against target job descriptions and detecting missing keywords.
• AI Mock Interviews: Interactive technical, behavioral, and HR interview simulations with live evaluation and transcript scoring.
• Interactive Roadmaps: Career path generators, skill gap analyses, and curated learning objectives.
• Placement Drills & Quizzes: Daily technical MCQs, problem-solving challenges, and streak tracking.
• Multi-Device Cloud Sync: Synchronizing resume documents between your mobile device and web browser using Google Firebase.

Our services leverage advanced artificial intelligence models (including Google Gemini AI) to assist you in drafting professional summaries, improving resume bullet points, generating interview questions, and analyzing job fits.

PrepHit AI is an independent software tool designed for preparation and career document design. We are NOT an employment agency, headhunting firm, or recruitment service.

• We do not guarantee that using our resume builder or ATS scanner will result in job offers, interview invitations, or employment.
• Hiring decisions, applicant screening algorithms, and recruitment criteria vary widely by employer and are entirely beyond our control.
• You agree that PrepHit AI shall not be held liable for any failed job applications, interview rejections, or career outcomes.

To access personalized cloud features and cross-device sync, you must sign in using a valid Google Account.

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 where required by local law) to use PrepHit AI.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your Google account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide genuine contact information in your resume drafts.

You own your content. All text, resume histories, career profiles, and documents you input remain your sole intellectual property.

By using our service, you grant PrepHit AI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, limited license to host, parse, encrypt, store, and transmit your resume data solely as necessary to provide the features of the platform (such as generating PDF previews, computing ATS keyword matches, and running AI feedback).

We do not sell your personal data or resume contents to data brokers or third-party recruiters without your consent.

When using PrepHit AI, you agree that you will NOT:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose, fraudulent activity, or forged identity creation.
• Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, exploit, or bypass authentication measures in the mobile APK or web client.
• Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to harvest questions, resume templates, or platform assets.
• Abuse, spam, or excessively trigger generative AI endpoints in a manner that degrades service performance for other users.
• Upload malicious code, harmful payloads, or viruses into resume upload inputs.

PrepHit AI is currently available in a 100% Free Public Beta. We reserve the right to introduce premium Pro tiers, optional subscriptions, or feature limits in future versions.

Any changes to fee structures will be communicated transparently on the website and mobile app before implementation. Users will never be charged without explicit consent.

PrepHit AI is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PrepHit AI and its developers, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of employment opportunities, loss of revenue, data corruption, or system downtime resulting from your use of the services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When material updates are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of our mobile app or web platform following notice of modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
